Terms of Service
Last updated: August 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Hero HW Services ("Hero," "we," "us"). They cover the website, dashboard, Discord bot, APIs, and related software (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, signing in with Discord, redeeming an invoice, pasting a link, uploading a file, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement between you and Hero about the Service. They replace any prior oral or written statements about the same subject. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
Headings are for convenience only. "Including" means "including without limitation."
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and authorized your use. The Service is not directed to children under 13. We may close accounts that we reasonably believe belong to someone under 13.
You must have the legal capacity to contract. You may not use the Service if you are barred under applicable law, including export or sanctions rules, or if we have previously suspended you.
Accounts
Access is tied to a Discord account. You must keep that account in good standing with Discord, keep your credentials confidential, and tell us promptly through a public Discord ticket if you believe someone else used your Hero access.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Discord identity on the Service, including unlocks, Humanizer runs, Turnitin checks, Ask threads, and redemptions. Invoice IDs, session cookies, and access tokens are credentials. Treat them like a password.
We may refuse, limit, or reclaim usernames, roles, or access that interfere with the Service or impersonate Hero or another person.
Limited license
Hero grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own study, for as long as your pass or credits remain valid, solely in accordance with these Terms.
No other license is granted. You do not acquire any ownership in the Service, our software, our design, our documentation, or any third-party content delivered through the Service.
Copying and cloning
The site, dashboard, bot, copy, layout, visual design, component structure, trademarks, logos, and other distinctive look and feel are protected by copyright, trademark, and unfair competition law. You may not copy, clone, mirror, frame, or republish the Service, in whole or in part, except for transient copies your browser needs to display a page to you.
Without our prior written consent you may not:
- Reproduce our interface, marketing pages, or product chrome as a competing site, skin, theme, or "inspired by" product.
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically download our pages, assets, brand files, or user interface for reuse.
- Use our name, logos, Discord branding, or trade dress in a way that suggests we endorse, operate, or partner with you, other than factual references.
- Train or fine-tune a model on our site, copy, layout, or logged-in product for the purpose of reproducing Hero or a substitute.
A personal screenshot of your own dashboard for a support ticket is allowed. Public redistribution of other users' content, or of our product as a template, is not.
Reverse engineering
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, or otherwise attempt to derive source code, algorithms, prompts, account pools, proxy or worker configuration, rate-limit logic, or security measures, except to the extent a statute expressly forbids us from restricting that activity (and then only for that statutory purpose).
You also may not:
- Probe, scan, or load-test the Service, or probe third parties through our infrastructure, without our written permission.
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with authentication, reCAPTCHA, same-origin checks, quota meters, paywalls, or other technical protection.
- Intercept, spoof, or impersonate our APIs, Discord bot, or client applications, or build an unofficial client that calls our endpoints.
- Introduce malware, crawlers, or automated agents other than ordinary web browsers and the official Hero Discord bot acting for your own account.
Research that requires access beyond a normal logged-in session needs our prior written approval. Unsolicited "security research" that disrupts the Service is still a breach.
Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to:
- Violate any law, including copyright, computer fraud, or export rules.
- Harass, defraud, or impersonate others, including Hero staff.
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing files.
- Resell outputs as a competing unlock, humanizer, or Turnitin desk.
- Interfere with other users' accounts or quotas.
We may throttle, queue, or refuse jobs that look automated, abusive, or harmful to the Service or to third-party sites.
Intellectual property
Hero and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service. Feedback you send us (ideas, bug reports, design comments) may be used by us without restriction or compensation. You assign to us any intellectual property in that feedback to the extent needed for that use.
You retain rights in text and files you submit. You grant Hero a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that material solely to operate the tools you requested (for example, unlocking a URL you pasted, rewriting text you submitted, or running a similarity check).
Third-party material
Unlock results, previews, and related documents may include material owned by publishers, schools, or other third parties. Hero does not claim that material as its own and does not grant you a copyright license to copy, share, sell, or post it outside the Service.
You are solely responsible for how you use third-party content and for any conflict with those parties' terms, licenses, or technical measures. The Service is a software tool. It is not a license from CourseHero, Chegg, StuDocu, Quizlet, Bartleby, Turnitin, or any other third party.
Discord, SellAuth, Stripe, Google reCAPTCHA, and similar vendors are independent. Their terms also apply when you use their products to reach us.
Academic use
Schools and exam bodies set their own honor codes. You are solely responsible for complying with them. Hero does not submit work to your instructors, does not certify originality for a grade, and does not take on your academic duties.
Using the Service in a way your institution forbids is your decision and your risk. We may still suspend you if that use also breaks these Terms or harms the Service.
Payments and passes
Checkout is processed by SellAuth and its payment partners (including Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers. Prices, quotas, and plan names are those shown at checkout and on the site at the time you pay.
Access binds to the Discord account that redeems the invoice ID first. Passes are one-time and do not auto-renew. When the term ends, access stops unless you redeem another invoice.
Daily unlock quotas, Humanizer limits, and Turnitin credits work as described on the dashboard. Unused daily quota generally expires at the reset shown in the product (Eastern Time) and is not a bank of unused jobs you can cash out, except as the Refund Policy allows.
Referrals
Referral rewards follow the rules shown in the product at the time the referred user signs in and purchases. We may withhold or reverse a reward if we detect self-referral, fake accounts, stolen invoices, or abuse. Referral windows are time-limited as displayed after first sign-in.
Humanizer and Turnitin
Humanizer is an All-Inclusive add-on, not a standalone tool. It only runs while that Discord account has an active All-Inclusive pass. Buying Humanizer alone does not grant access. Turnitin checks are sold separately from unlocks unless a listing includes them. Outputs are probabilistic. Detection scores, similarity percentages, and "AI detected" figures are estimates from vendors and models. They are not a warranty that a school, publisher, or detector will reach the same result.
Turnitin-related checks on Hero are run so that files are not placed in a school repository through our flow, as described in the product. We do not control Turnitin's own systems, uptime, or future policy. You should not treat a Hero check as proof that your institution will never see the file.
Availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted uptime. Sites we fetch, Discord, SellAuth, model providers, and similarity vendors can fail. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We may also change quotas, supported sites, or technical methods when those third parties change.
Refunds
Cash refunds, quota credits, chargebacks, and failed jobs are governed by the Refund Policy. Opening a bank dispute without first using a Discord ticket may pause the account, as that policy describes.
Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if we reasonably believe you breached these Terms, shared an account, attacked or copied the Service, created a risk of legal claims, or used the Service in a way that threatens other users or our vendors.
On termination, your license ends. We may delete or retain data as the Privacy Policy describes. Unused pass time is not automatically refunded when termination is for cause.
Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, sharing restrictions, reverse engineering, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HERO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that unlocks will succeed for every URL, that Humanizer output will evade any detector, that similarity scores will match a school's report, or that the Service will be error-free or secure against all attacks.
Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HERO AND ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST GRADES, ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE, REPLACEMENT COSTS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO HERO FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50) IF YOU PAID NOTHING IN THAT PERIOD.
Some places do not allow certain limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hero and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your sharing of an account, your copying or reverse engineering of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights (including copyright and publicity).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hero HW Services is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer law in your country of residence cannot be waived.
Except where the law requires otherwise, you and Hero will bring disputes only in the courts of that same place, and each of you consents to that venue. You may have additional mandatory rights as a consumer. Those rights still apply.
Informal resolution comes first. Open a Discord ticket and give us a reasonable chance to fix the issue before filing a claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top is the current version. Material changes will be noted in Discord or on this page. Continued use after the update is acceptance of the new Terms for future use. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
Contact
We do not operate a billing or legal email inbox. Notices, privacy requests, copyright complaints, and disputes go through a ticket in our public Discord. That is the official channel.
These Terms are our contract with you. They are not legal advice about your school, your employer, or a third-party website. If you need advice about your own situation, consult a lawyer licensed where you live.
